Valencia Club de Fútbol, S.A.D
Valencia Club de Fútbol (Valencia CF) was officially founded on March 18, 1919, and moved to the Mestalla Stadium in 1923, which has been its home ever since. The team was promoted to La Liga in 1931, starting its journey in Spain's top flight.
The 1940s marked the club's first golden age, with 3 La Liga titles and 2 Copa del Rey titles, establishing it as a powerhouse in Spanish football. In the 1960s, it won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup twice, laying a foundation for European competitions; the 1980s saw a brief relegation, but the club returned to La Liga the following year.
Valencia reached its peak at the turn of the century, making consecutive UEFA Champions League finals in the 1999-01 seasons. It claimed another two La Liga titles in 2001-02 and 2003-04, and won the UEFA Cup in 2003-04 to complete a historic domestic and European double, along with the UEFA Super Cup the same year. Peter Lim completed the acquisition of the club in 2014, and Valencia won the Copa del Rey in 2019 for its centenary celebration. To date, the club has won 6 La Liga titles, 8 Copa del Rey titles and multiple European trophies, being a traditional strong team in La Liga.
